Brief
Having over a decade of experience in business operation, analysis, development, information architecture, structuring and implementation, Pedram Salman utilizes a personal approach and experienced position to collaborate with clients.
Jamie’s & Son
A small family owned business was where Pedram gained his first experience in business.
Pedram was 1/3 of the family owned business from the young age of nine, he would help there any time he wasn’t at school. As the years passed Pedram learned more about business operations and followed up by establishing his own bakery in 2009, Jamie’s & Son.
He now continues to produce all the favorite products customers could once find at his parents former bakery then located on State Street in Madison, in addition to all of his unique one of a kind items not produced elsewhere which are his creations.
Pedram Salman’s many facets of experience combine for an overall perspective that is unsurpassed due to the fact that his experiences are so time tested.
Xivic
During his time with Clotho Pedram was moonlighting as a Project Analyst and Information Architect for Xivic, Inc. The projects with Xivic began in 2007 and were on and off then picked up again full pace in 2011. Pedram was working as a telecommuter for the company, then based out of L.A., CA.
While working the two jobs Pedram was also following his passion, something that has been in his family since he was nine years old, his passion for baking and creating signature products not found anywhere else.
Clotho
After attaining his HSED in 2007 Pedram’s aptitude was requested by Clotho Business Solutions, a newly re-branded firm which was coming out of a decade long slump following its establishment in 1996.
The business development firm utilized overseas assets and requested Pedram’s experience to help establish and manage a streamlined process of communication between client and development teams while minimizing communication errors and becoming the medium for the two.
Pedram Salman implemented a system in which the clients needs were understood, their thoughts and ideas designed and described with technical and functional specifications then passed to the development teams for implementation. Following implementation Pedram was responsible for quality control of the produced solution.
Pedram Salman operated a key role in the successful reorganization of Clotho, by providing information and application architecture and impressive quality assurance results for each and every project, helping push the company to new heights of success.
Projects I enjoyed
One of the first projects in which Pedram played a key role was Research Product’s Aprilaire eStore. A full eCommerce solution that included a complete eCommerce package including product, content & order management, public shopping, and a warehouse fulfillment system down to printing shipping labels automatically, which automated the entire process from order placement to the order arriving at your door and improved the efficiency of the company as a whole.
All aspects of this project were first sketched out from the client needs and the full system was built from scratch.
Following this was another success MasterCraft’s online Build a Boat application. This application allows customers to custom build their own boats down to the last detail. They can follow by ordering their boat or saving it for awing at later. The boat also had a Dealer builder tool which replaced the old paper order form system and instead utilized a web app to place orders.
These are only a few of the accomplishments but definitely those which were most memorable during Pedram’s tenure at Clotho from 2007 – 2010.
